Tropical sunset in flower form. Bahama Mama is famous for that banana yellow/creamy centre that melts out into mauve pink to peach pink petals, often with lilac toned tips. The colour shift is what makes her so addictive: every bloom looks like it’s glowing. She’s also a vigorous, strong-stemmed cutter, so you get the wow factor and the production.

Plant notes for Canadian farms:
Expect plants around ~4 ft with long, strong stems and blooms that sell themselves in late-summer and fall bunches. The colour reads best as yellow/cream through the centre with mauve-pink/peach-pink outer petals, and it pairs beautifully with cream, blush, bronze, and berry tones. Give her sun and keep cutting—she rewards you with steady production right into frost.
