Summer in Bloom began with a simple idea: open up the flower farm for one day and fill it with the people who make this region what it is. In 2026 we did exactly that, and the very first Summer in Bloom Market brought sixty-five local makers, growers, bakers and artists to Franklin & Co. Flower Farm in Charlie Lake, BC.
It was everything we'd hoped for. Families strolling through the flower field. Food trucks serving local favourites. Live music as the sun went down over the Peace Region. A day, and a night, of shopping, visiting, and being outside together.
One weekend a year. That's the whole idea.
Because when our community thrives, we all bloom together.
