Welcome to our Flower Farm

Hey there! I’m Cory. I’m a retired Registered Nurse who became a flower farmer in pursuit of a slower, more intentional way of life. I am a proud wife to Peter and a blessed mom to six kids. Together, we are Franklin & Co.

My family and I run a specialty cut flower farm in Northern British Columbia - only 10 minutes from Fort St. John, in Charlie Lake.

We offer fresh, one-of-a-kind bouquets and we invite you to the farm for on-the-farm experiences for you and your family.

We look forward to seeing you on the farm!

The idea of Franklin & Co. Flower Farm began with a handful of raised beds and a vision for something simple: fresh, local flowers grown with care and shared with our community. But like most good things, our dream grew quickly — and so did the farm.

What started as a plan for a small self serve flower shack has blossomed into a full service destination. Today, our Flower Shack offers not only our signature farm fresh market bouquets but also hard ice cream, handcrafted tallow products, and our own soy candles, inspired by the scents of the flower field and poured right here on the farm. We’ve even added picnic tables with cute umbrellas so you can sit, relax, and soak in the fresh air with an ice cream cone or a fresh bouquet in hand.

We’ve planted two acres of cut flowers, carefully mapped out with the ability to produce the abundance of a four acre farm. Our fields are home to perennials, zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, peonies and more — all grown with intention and harvested by hand.

Franklin & Co. is truly a team effort. Peter is the builder, fixer, and all-around infrastructure expert — the one running water lines, repairing machinery, and making sure the systems behind the scenes run smoothly. Cory is the crop planner, social media voice, bookkeeper, and flower researcher — always learning and adapting to grow better, stronger blooms.

Our farm was designed with community in mind. From U-pick events to on farm experiences, our goal is to create space for people to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the beauty of the season — even if just for an afternoon.

We’ve even added some farm helpers along the way: a flock of 12 ducks for natural pest control, and a very large dog named Tucker to help keep deer at bay.

You’ll also find our daughter, mom, uncle and aunt lending a hand when they can, along with a wonderful part-time team that keeps the Flower Shack running smoothly and the farm looking its best.

We're proud of what we’re building — not just a flower farm, but a place where people feel welcome, inspired, and connected to something beautiful.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the farm.

— Cory & Peter
