The strong stems carry bold, single blooms that retain shape and colour, making it a dependable choice for production cutting.

Days to maturity: Mid summer through first frost
Plant spacing: 12-18 in recommended for good stem development and airflow. 
Pinch: When plants reach ~12 in tall, pinch to encourage branching and more stems.

Plant notes for Canadian farms:
Expect plants around 3½–4 ft tall with strong upright stems, perfect for market stems. The unique colour palette reads beautifully in our northern light, shifting from a rich crimson-pink to a soft sepia pink over the season. Because the bloom size is moderate yet the colour is distinctive, Perch Hill is excellent for high-end market bunches or designer wedding work. Good spacing and staking will enhance production and keep stems clean.
